Wake & Shake runs from 7.50am to 8.50am on a Monday to Thursday at Coleridge Primary, for Reception to Year 4 .
Wake and Shake is Educational Exercise!
I provide activities to help the children develop their interest in learning in an exciting, fun and dynamic way. The activities are designed through differentiation to cater for reception age to years 3 and 4. Good snack of fruit and savoury biscuit included.
The activities include:
Hopscotch Numbers
Pupils will be guided to add up the numbers they jump onto. I differentiate the task for pupils who I feel need to be further challenged. They might be asked to multiply the numbers instead for example.
Left and Right Hands and Feet
Pupils learn their left from their right hands and feet (left is blue and red is right). Games and more challenging interactions centered around this activity.
Stepping Stones
Pupils develop balancing skills through different heights of the stepping stones.
Other activities include:
Blue mats for forward rolls and cartwheels
Trampoline
Musical statues
Memory games
Bean bags
Juggling balls
Hula hoops
